The Accelerated Reader program is a commercially produced, computer-based test system for evaluating the comprehension level of a student reader. Students read books on their reading level then take a brief test on the computer to determine how well they have understood what has been read.

Accelerated Reader book levels are subject to change without our knowledge. We try our best to keep up with these changes to maintain up-to-date records.

The school's test list fills a 2.5-inch binder. For that reason it is updated every few years. This website however attempts to maintain current tests and accurate book levels on a constant basis.

The on-line listing of all test/books is divided by reading levels. New additions are shown by blue shading.  This is a listing of the TESTS on Accelerated Reader. The Henderson Library does not own all of the books listed! These listings are provided for parents to assist their children in locating appropriate books at the Prince William County Public Libraries. They are not to be used for locating books in the Henderson Library.

The following files are collective lists of every Accelerated Reader test Henderson has. The first file is organized alphabetically by book title. The second file is organized by book level. Please be advised that these files are large (40 MB) and have 109 pages.
